Synagogue administrators and staff
Individuals who create and manage a GabbaiPro tenant account on behalf of their congregation. This policy applies to their use of gabbaipro.com and the GabbaiPro admin interface.
Privacy Policy
Nerav Labs, Inc. ("GabbaiPro", "we", "us", or "our") operates the GabbaiPro platform at gabbaipro.com and any associated subdomains. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Who this policy covers
Congregant portal users
Members and donors who access a congregation's hosted portal (e.g., shulname.gabbaipro.com or a custom domain). GabbaiPro acts as a data processor on behalf of the synagogue for this data. The synagogue's own privacy policy governs its member relationships.
Website visitors
Anyone visiting gabbaipro.com, including prospective customers, is subject to this policy for information collected through the marketing site.
2. Information we collect
Account information
Name, email address, organization name, role, and password when you create or manage a GabbaiPro tenant account or request a demo.
Billing information
Subscription billing is processed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We do not store full card numbers or ACH account details on our servers.
Usage and log data
IP address, browser type, pages visited, session duration, and actions taken within the platform. Used for security, debugging, and platform improvement.
Congregant data (processor role)
Member records, donation history, payment references, and communications that synagogues enter into their GabbaiPro workspace. We process this data on behalf of the synagogue and do not use it for our own marketing.
Communications
Messages you send to our support team, demo requests, and feedback forms.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or PostHog) to understand how visitors use gabbaipro.com. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
3. How we use your information
To deliver the platform
Provision your tenant workspace, authenticate users, process billing, and provide customer support.
To improve GabbaiPro
Analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, and develop new features. Aggregated, de-identified data may be used for product analytics.
To communicate with you
Send transactional emails (billing receipts, account alerts, onboarding guidance) and, with your consent, product updates and announcements. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
To comply with law
Respond to lawful requests from government authorities, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights and safety of users and third parties.
4. How we share your information
Service providers
We share data with vendors who help operate GabbaiPro, including cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS or Google Cloud), payment processing (Stripe), transactional email, and analytics. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to perform services for us.
Your synagogue (congregant data)
Congregant data entered by a synagogue administrator is accessible to that synagogue's authorized users. GabbaiPro does not share one synagogue's data with another.
Business transfers
If GabbaiPro is acquired, merges with another company, or transfers substantially all assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users via email or a prominent notice on our website.
Legal requirements
We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
No sale of personal data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Data retention
Active accounts
We retain account and workspace data for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support account recovery and legal obligations.
After cancellation
Upon subscription cancellation, we retain data for 90 days to allow data export before deletion. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.
Backups and logs
Encrypted backups and system logs may persist for up to 12 months for security and audit purposes before routine deletion.
6. Security
Encryption in transit and at rest
All data transmitted to and from GabbaiPro is encrypted via TLS. Data stored at rest is encrypted using industry-standard encryption.
Tenant isolation
Each synagogue workspace is tenant-scoped. One organization's data is not accessible to users of another organization.
Access controls
GabbaiPro staff access to production customer data is restricted, logged, and subject to least-privilege policies.
Payment security
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. GabbaiPro does not store card numbers or sensitive payment credentials. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@gabbaipro.com.
7. Your rights and choices
Access and correction
You may access and update your account information at any time through the GabbaiPro admin interface or by contacting us.
Data export
Synagogue administrators can export their workspace data at any time from the platform. Upon written request, we will provide a copy in a portable format.
Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Marketing opt-out
Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email. Transactional and billing emails are not affected by marketing opt-out.
Cookie preferences
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not function properly without certain cookies.
8. Children's privacy
GabbaiPro is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at privacy@gabbaipro.com and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on gabbaipro.com at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of GabbaiPro after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
